I was born in Poland, graduted from the University of Silesia in Katowice, moved to the UK in 2003 where started to photograph. Photography has quickly become the greatest joy in my life. In 2007 after mastering my photography skills in the UK, I have moved to Ireland and started cooperating with dance theatre. Capturing dance and movement has become my addiction and real passion. So far I have cooperated with Dublin Youth Dance Company, Irish Modern Dance Theatre, Irish National Youth Ballet, Flamenco Ireland, Dance Theatre of Ireland, Irish Russian Youth Ballet, Monkstown College of Dance as well as I have photographed independent dance projects such as The House of Crossed Destinies at Project Arts Centre in Dublin, Nic Green Dublin edition of trilogy during ABSOLUT Fringe Festival, All Ireland Dance Experiment at Helix Theatre, Admit One, a dance film, a part of RTE Dance on the Box series and many more.
Apart from dance theatre I have also cooperated with festivals: Festival of World Cultures, Absolut Fringe Festival, Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival, photographed charity and social events.
I have also had a great pleasue to work with Irish musician and song writer Luka Bloom taking all photographs promoting his 2010 worldwide tour as well as 2011 2 Meter Sessies Theatre Tour in Holland with Luka Bloom and JD Kroeske. My photograph is also on the latest Luka Bloom album cover Dreams in America.
Over the years I have developed my invidual & unique style. I love monochrome photography seldom shoot in colour.
I am a member of Visual Artists Ireland, IAA UNESCO and WPJA -Wedding Photojournalist Association.
